Chowder lovers should bring a spoon, & a hearty appetite, to the 23rd Annual Chowderfest at City Hall Plaza. This 4th of July tradition, part of Harborfest, features top chefs vying for the honor of making Boston's Best Chowder. Roving performers provide entertainment between tastings.
The Annual Chowderfest will bring restaurants from all around metro-Boston to compete for the title of 'Boston’s Best Chowder.' Over a thousand gallons of New England’s signature dish will be ladled out to a crowd of over 11,000 enthusiastic chowder-samplers in this fun-filled Boston tradition.
Suggestions are taken all year long from local residents and restaurateurs regarding which restaurants they want to see at Chowderfest.
